Working with a prestigious FTSE100 Client. Our client experienced tremendous growth in 2020 with big plans for 2021 - including a focus on optimising in-store experiences along with the experimentation of new, innovative technologies. They are further expanding their UX Team with this being their first User Researcher role. Your goal will be to ensure that they’re continually learning about users, goals, work patterns, and frustrations. In particular, they want to systematically study and improve their CX journey. Skills Required: - 3+ years of experience in user research at consumer-focused companies, with a strong foundational training. - A thorough understanding and practical experience of qualitative and quantitative user research techniques, with experience in applying them in practice to improve product experiences. - A deep understanding of strengths and weaknesses of different methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process. Comfort managing multiple projects, including logistics of scoping, and recruiting. - A combination of integrity and flexibility to balance research speed and rigor. Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, analysts, and other partners. - A real passion for finding new, effective ways to solve problems for our customers and colleagues. Experience working with Agile Design / Lean UX / Service Design methods.
Set up regular interviews to understand users’ attitudes towards our clients' product. Work with sales and product to understand users' first experience of our product – what excites them, what bores them, and what confuses them. Provide insights to product, UX design and technical writing to help craft an engaging onboarding journey with a focus on learning-by-doing.
